The fitness equipment company has co-launched an accelerator that will target health and wellness technology startups.

Italy-based fitness equipment manufacturer Technogym launched an accelerator for health and wellness startups yesterday in partnership with Italy-based incubator H-Farm.

The four-month Wellness Accelerator Program will provide up to €80,000 ($92,500) each to five startups, comprising €55,000 in the form of acceleration services such as mentoring and partnerships, €10,000 in cash and €15,000 to cover room and board.

Wellness Holding, the angel investment fund owned by the Alessandri family, is also collaborating on the initiative.
