Alexander Schlaepfer is leaving power and automation corporate venturing platform Aster Capital to join telecommunications group Swisscom's CVC unit.
Alexander Schlaepfer is set to take up an investment director position at Swisscom Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of Switzerland-based telecommunications firm Swisscom.
Schlaepfer will join Swisscom Ventures at the start of June from Aster Capital, the France-based venture capital firm that acts as an investment platform for industrial corporates Alstom, Schneider Electric and Solvay.
As part of his role, Schlaepfer led Aster’s investments in renewables, energy storage, industrial IT, data analytics and internet of things technology developers.
