Qualcomm Ventures has exited agricultural management platform developer Strider in an acquisition of undisclosed size by Syngenta.
Agribusiness Syngenta has agreed to acquire Brazil-based agriculture management software provider Strider for an undisclosed amount, allowing mobile semiconductor technology producer Qualcomm to exit.
Founded in 2013, Strider has built a software platform that allows farmers to more efficiently manage multiple aspects of the agricultural process, including farm machinery and pest control, as well as providing satellite imagery.
Qualcomm’s corporate venturing unit, Qualcomm Ventures, had joined venture capital firm Monashees to supply $3m for Strider in a mid-2016 series…
