Vinay Trivedi has left SoftBank Investment Advisers, the manager of SoftBank Vision Fund, and joined General Atlantic as a vice-president to oversee growth-stage tech investments.
Vinay Trivedi, a former investor for telecommunications and internet group SoftBank, has joined growth equity firm General Atlantic as a vice-president.
Founded in 1980, General Atlantic backs growth-stage companies globally. The move involves Trivedi moving from San Francisco to New York as part of his new position, which will focus on technology deals from series B-stage onwards on behalf of the firm.
