Intel Capital has co-led a series A round for the motorcycle helmet maker, which celebrated a $2.4m crowdfunding campaign last year.
Skully, the US-based manufacturer of a motorcycle helmet that includes a display for GPS navigation, has raised $11m in an early-stage round co-led by computing company Intel’s corporate venturing arm Intel Capital on Friday.
Walden Riverwood Ventures co-led the round with Intel, while Formation 8, Techstars, Eastlink Capital and Western Technology Investments also participated. The series A round included $2m in seed funding.
