CBRE and corporate venturing units GV and M12 exited as Siemens bought Building Robotics, the developer of building environmental control app Comfy.

Industrial product and appliance producer Siemens has paid an undisclosed amount for Building Robotics, the US-based creator of building experience app Comfy, allowing corporates Alphabet, Microsoft and CBRE to exit.

Comfy is a mobile platform that allows employees to access environmental control systems in buildings, such as lighting or temperature, in addition to finding and booking desks and meeting rooms. They can also contact support staff to handle maintenance issues.
