Shubhang Shankar has been promoted to a managing director at Syngenta's corporate venturing unit, following the departures of Katrin Burt and Derek Norman.
Syngenta Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of Switzerland-based crop and seed technology provider Syngenta, has promoted investment manager Shubhang Shankar to managing director (MD).
Shankar had spent three years as an investment manager at Syngenta Ventures, having joined the company after being a project leader at consulting firm Boston Consulting Group in India.
