RR Donnelley, a US-based print company, backs Real Value Corporation, the parent company of iPad shopping app CoffeeTable, which is led by venture firm Maveron's Ben Choi.

RR Donnelley, a US-based print company, has reportedly backed Real Value Corporation, the maker of the iPad  shopping app, CoffeeTable, with a $2.5m investment.

RR Donnelley invested the series A funds as a first tranche of a larger investment, which also includes an exclusive market relationship, according to news provider TechCrunch. CoffeeTable provides iPad users with direct access to retailers’ shopping catalogues.

Ben Choi, a venture partner at Maveron, is chief executive of CoffeeTable.
