Rise Labs, creators of a nutrition and lifestyle coaching smart phone app, has raised $2.3m in funding led by Floodgate with participation from Google Ventures.
US-based Rise Labs gained the investment in a funding round led by Floodgate with participation from Google Ventures, Cowboy Ventures and Greylock. Their product, a smart phone app, allows users to share photos of their food and weight-loss and get feedback on their lifestyle.
The money raised will go toward improvements and new features in the app.
Rise Labs is working with advisors to help build their product including CNN’s chief medical correspondent and Mayo Clinic.
