Intel Capital-backed tag maker RF Code gains $9m in C round.

RF Code, a US-based maker of identification tags backed by Intel Capital, has raised three-quarters of its planned $12m series C round.

Eight investors have provided $9m in the C round, according to a regulatory filing.

RF previously raised $13m in its series B round in 2007 and $20m in its first round two years earlier from venture capital firm QuestMark Partners, Intel Capital, the corporate venturing division of US-listed semiconductor company Intel, angel investor Moshe Azoulay and property conglomerate Hunt Companies.
