RapidSOS, a US-based emergency response technology provider backed by corporate investors AAA, CSAA, Microsoft and Motorola Solutions, raised $85m in series C funding on Tuesday.
Growth equity firm Insight Partners led the round, which pushed the company’s overall funding to $200m since it was founded in 2012. It secured $51.2m from undisclosed backers last month, according to a securities filing, which likely forms part of the latest deal.
