The KMS-backed software testing technology provider will spend the cash on European and North American growth as well as hiring.

QASymphony, a US-based software testing services provider backed by software services firm KMS Technology, has secured $40m in series C funding.

The round was led by venture capital and private equity firm Insight Venture Partners, and QASymphony did not disclose any additional participants.

Founded in 2011 by KMS co-founders Vu Lam and Josh Lieberman, QASymphony has created a software platform called qTest that helps development and quality assurance teams enhance the speed, efficiency and accuracy of software testing.
