German-based Infrastructure-as-a-service company ProfitBricks has secured a $19.5m investment from its founders United Internet.
European internet services provider United Internet (UNAG) has led a $19.5m series A round into cloud computer service ProfitBricks. There was also involvement from ProfitBricks’ founders, Achim Weiss and Bob Rizika.
United Internet, who are previous investors, is the parent company of mass market hosting giant 1&1 Internet.
The new round brings the total raised by ProfitBricks to $38.3m
