Primack seeks new fortune with VandeHei

Dan Primack, known for his Term Sheet column published by Fortune, is joining an as-yet unnamed media startup by Jim VandeHei, backed by NBC.

Dan Primack, a senior editor at publication Fortune known for his Silicon Valley-focused column Term Sheet, revealed yesterday he is to join an as-yet unnamed startup backed by broadcaster NBC News.

That startup is being launched by Jim VandeHei, co-founder of political news outlet Politico, and Politico columnist Mike Allen. It first appeared on GCV’s radar last month when it raised $10m from a consortium including NBC News.
