Prairie Cloudware completes its first round of funding, raising $1.65m for a mobile payments prototype, from Nelnet, Treetop, Croghan, Nebraska Global and Tetrad Corporation.

Prairie Cloudware, a US-based  banking solutions company that allows customers to make payments with their mobile Prairie Cloudware has raised $1.65m round of funding with participation from Nelnet, a local education loans and service provider that has backed more than six start-ups. The round was led by Treetop Ventures and Croghan Investments, owned and operated by Ray Croghan. There was also involvement from Nebraska Global and Tetrad Corporation.
