Intel-backed cloud service company TOA Technologies has been acquired by Oracle for an undisclosed sum after raising more than $96m.

Computing company Oracle has acquired US-based cloud service company TOA Technologies on Thursday for an undisclosed amount, providing an exit to Intel Capital, the corporate venturing arm of semiconductor maker Intel.  

TOA supplies field service management software to businesses, providing them with a platform to manage mobile field service operations. The acquisition will allow Oracle to add TOA’s field service software to its own cloud product offering.
