Tomoko Inoue, formerly senior manager at MedVenture Partners, joined corporate venturing unit Omron Ventures as chief executive earlier this year.
Tomoko Inoue departed from venture capital firm MedVenture Partners earlier this year to join Omron Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of Japan-based automation equipment manufacturer Omron, as chief executive.
Inoue had been a senior manager at MedVenture Partners, a subsidiary of public-private investment partnership Innovation Network Corporation of Japan, since 2013 having helped set up the unit. She had been hired as a vice-president by INCJ in 2011.
