Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Venture Capital, RareJob, Sansei Capital and Showcase have exited the video conferencing tool provider in an acquisition by fellow investor MyNavi.
Recruitment firm MyNavi has acquired one of its portfolio companies, Japan-based video chat technology developer FacePeer, for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in 2015, FacePeer has built video conference software products including FaceHub, which focuses on business-to-business-to-customer online communication, and ViewHub, a platform designed for online job interviews.
The company most recently raised an undisclosed amount from MyNavi in early 2019 through a strategic partnership which involved the latter distributing FaceHub and ViewHub to its customers.
