Motorola Solutions, through its strategic investment arm Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, participates in a $2m Series A for indoor location system developer TRX Systems.
The corporate venturing unit of US-based business communications company Motorola Solutions, Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, has participated in a $2m Series A round for US-based TRX Systems, a developer of personnel tracking systems. There was also involvement from New Dominion Angels and the Maryland Department of Economic Development.
TRX will use the new investment to fund the integration of its indoor Location System with Motorola Solutions radios to expand the industrial and commercial location applications for its mapping technology.
