Rumi Morales, head of CME Group unit CME Ventures from 2013 to 2017, has joined blockchain-focused Outlier Ventures as a partner.
Rumi Morales (pictured), formerly head of financial exchange operator CME’s corporate venturing unit, CME Ventures, has joined US-based venture capital firm Outlier Ventures as a partner.
CME hired Morales as executive director for international corporate development and finance in 2010 and promoted her to head of CME Ventures three years later. She made Global Corporate Venturing’s 2017 Powerlist, but decided in August 2017 to step down.
