Existing investor Microsoft Ventures has taken part in a Creandum-led funding round for the educational game development platform also backed by Northzone.

Kahoot, the Norway-headquartered developer of a game-based learning platform, has completed a $10m funding round featuring Microsoft Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of software provider Microsoft, ArcticStartup has reported.

Creandum led the round, which also included fellow venture capital firm Northzone. Kahoot, which was founded in 2013, has not disclosed details about its earlier funding but confirmed Microsoft Ventures and Northzone were existing investors.
