Matterport, a Y Combinator startup that has created technology that can do a 3D scan of building interiors, has raised $4m.
Qualcomm Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of the eponymous chip maker, has invested in a $4m round of funding for US-based Matterport, as reported on bizjournals.
Matterport is a Y Combinator startup that creates three-dimensional (3D) scans. The funds came from 39 investors according to a recent filing, including venture capital firms Felicis Ventures, Red Swan, Greylock Partners and Navitas Capital.
Sundeep Peechu of Felicis and David Eisenberg of Red Swan are directors at the company.
