Mainport, which invests on behalf of fund investors like KLM, Rabobank, Schiphol and Delft University of Technology and the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF), backs the airborne wind energy company.

Netherlands-based airborne wind energy company Ampyx Power raised an undisclosed sum in September from the Dutch Greentech Fund and the Mainport Innovation Fund,  a corporate venturing fund which invests on behalf of KLM, Rabobank, Schiphol and Delft University of Technology and the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF).
