Customer service provider Udesk has added a $15m series B round led by Legend Holdings' corporate venturing unit to $3m from DCM last year.
China-based customer service provider Udesk has raised RMB100m ($15m) in a series B round led by Legend Capital, the corporate venturing subsidiary of conglomerate Legend Holdings, Asian Venture Capital Journal reported yesterday.
Legend Capital was joined by DCM, the US-based venture capital firm that provided $3m of series A funding for Udesk in April 2015.
Founded in late 2013 and launched in January 2015, Udesk allows businesses to outsource their customer service operations, combining dedicated call centre staff with software that helps customers find answers more easily. It also offers a data analysis element that can help managers better understand the needs of their users.
