Canada-based digital health insurance startup League raised $25m today in a series A round featuring strategic investments from insurance provider Manulife Financial, financial holding company Power Financial Corporation and financial services firm RBC.

The round was led by Omers Ventures, the investment arm of Ontario government-owned pension fund Omers. BDC IT Venture Fund, operated by the Canadian federal government-owned Business Development Bank of Canada, Infinite Potential Technologies and Real Ventures also participated.
