Jake Latcham has been promoted by Schlumberger, a US-based provider of technology and services to the oil and gas industry, to venture principal.
Latcham previously spent two years as technology interface manager for OneSubSea, a Schlumberger subsidiary that provides products to the subsea oil and gas market.
Companies to have received venture capital investments from Schlumberger so far this year include chemical analysis technology company 908 Devices and nano-crystalline cellulose producer CelluForce.
