The corporate venturing unit has acquired a majority stake in a UK-based data mining company and funded two internal KPMG initiatives.
KPMG Capital, the investment subsidiary of Netherlands-based professional services firm KPMG, has revealed investments in three data and analytics technology startups and projects.
The unit paid an undisclosed amount for a majority stake in UK-based data mining and predictive modelling technology provider Software Development and Research Technology, in order to boost the predictive financial analytics tools available to its clients.
