Comcast Ventures was among the investors in the wifi service provider's series A round, and the company plans to begin work on a $15m series B next month.

KodaCloud, a US-based developer of artificial intelligence (AI)-powered wifi technology, has emerged from stealth with $10m in series A funding from investors including cable service provider Comcast, Mobile World Live has reported.

Comcast participated in the round through its corporate venturing subsidiary Comcast Ventures, investing alongside investment firm Celtic House Venture Partners and venture capital firm Voyager Capital.
