Ecommerce delivery company Kiala has been acquired by UPS, granting an exit to investors including the corporate venturing fund for France-based postal company La Poste.
Package delivery corporation UPS acquired Belgium-based ecommerce delivery service Kiala on 15th February, paying an undisclosed amount.
Founded in 2001, Kiala raised €26m ($37m) in a 2007 funding round led by Scottish Equity Partners. Additional investors in the company include XAnge Capital, a corporate venturing fund backed by French postal service La Poste, as well as insurance company AGF, venture capital firm Arts Alliance, private equity firm HarbourVest Partners, growth equity firm Iris Capital and investment firm Tempo Capital Partners.…
