Deutsche Bahn subsidiary DB Digital Ventures has participated in a round that will support the growth of Kepler Communications' satellite internet network.

Canada-based satellite telecommunications services provider Kepler Communications has secured $16m in a series A round backed by DB Digital Ventures, a mobility-focused investment arm of rail operator Deutsche Bahn.

The round was led by venture capital firm Costanoa Ventures and included fellow VC firm IA Ventures.
