India-based education group K12 Techno Services gains $15m from Sequoia and Song.

Song Advisors, an asset management company backed by Google’s venture philanthropic arm, has co-invested as part of a $15m investment in India-based education group K12 Techno Services. 



Song linked with Sequoia Capital India, a venture capital firm managing $1.8bn which is a subsidiary of US-based Sequoia Capital, for the round.

K12 manages more than 60 schools but expects to grow to more than 300 over the next year, according to a press conference reported by local news providers.
