John Lewis and subsidiary Waitrose have teamed up for the fourth year of its retail technology accelerator, JLab, through which startups can apply for up to $125,000.

UK-based retailer John Lewis Partnership has opened the call for applications to the fourth year of its global startup accelerator initiative.

JLab, which is run in association with advisers L Marks, involves Waitrose, the supermarket that forms part of the John Lewis group, joining the retail technology accelerator.

Five to 10 successful applicants will work across both the John Lewis and Waitrose businesses in the 2017 iteration of the scheme over the course of 12 weeks.
