Sliver, backed by Bertelsmann, Colopl, Gree and Creative Artists Agency, has collected $16m in fresh funding.

Sliver.tv, a US-based virtual reality (VR) platform aimed at eSports backed by a range of corporates, has received $16m in funding from unnamed investors, according to a regulatory filing.

Founded in 2015, Sliver has developed a virtual reality platform that provides an immersive experience to eSports audiences. The platform records more than a dozen live professional tournaments at any given moment, automatically generating highlight reels within a day.
