The Salesforce-backed customer relationship management technology company has raised $6.7m in new funding, according to a regulatory filing.
Introhive, a US-based customer relationship management (CRM) technology developer backed by cloud computing company Salesforce.com, has secured $6.7m in funding, according to a regulatory filing made on Friday.
The round featured 31 investors, the filing stated, including GrowthWorks Atlantic Venture Fund, private investor Ronjon Nag and venture capital firm Fortify Ventures.
Founded in Canada in 2012, Introhive has created a software offering that harnesses CRM to help businesses facilitate sales introductions through what it calls “social selling.”
Salesforce joined Introhive’s series B round, which already included Fortify, Growthworks Atlantic, Build Ventures, CIT GAP and NBIF, in 2013. The amount invested by Salesforce was undisclosed but the other investors provided $3.3m between them.
