Intel Capital has shrunk its stake in UK-based communications equipment provider, Imagination Technologies, selling 9.3% of its stake in the company.
Intel Capital, the corporate venturing arm of semiconductor company Intel, and Imagination’s biggest shareholder, has sold a 9.3% stake in Imagination Technologies Group for £51.3m ($87.4m). Intel will continue to hold a 5% stake.
Intel sold 25,00,000 share priced at 205 pence.
Of the sale, Intel said: “Intel Corporation continues to have a business relationship with the company, having licensed several generations of Imagination Technologies’ graphics and video processing cores.”
