Intel Capital, the investment vehicle of semiconductor company Intel, today announced it has committed a total of $67m in investments in eight China-based startups.

Intel has not revealed how much money each individual startup received, and noted that not all deals have closed yet.

Among the startups is 99cloud, which exploits cloud computing software platform OpenStack, and offers a range of products as well as professional training and certification for the technology. Similarly, AWCloud also offers software built on OpenStack.
