Intel has carried on its long running relationship with firmware company Insyde, investing a further $9.9m.

Intel Capital, the corporate venturing unit for semiconductor manufacturer Intel, invested NT$300m ($9.9m) in Taiwan-based firmware and software engineering company Insyde Software on Tuesday.

The funding was originally announced on 14th November as part of an investment worth $40m Intel put towards a total of ten companies across Asia, but at the time was yet to be finalised.
