Intel Corporation, US-based microprocessor maker, has acquired Israel-based technology developer Omek Interactive, one of Intel Capital’s investee companies. The acquisition price is estimated to be around $40m.

Prior to the acquisition, Omek Interactive had raised a total of $14m; Intel Capital, Intel’s corporate venturing unit, led Omek Interactive’s $7m third round of financing in July 2011.
