Electronic design automation company raises further funds from previous strategic investors.

Oasys Design Systems, a US-based electronic design automation (EDA) company, announced in July that it had raised an undisclosed amount of new funds from previous backers Intel Capital, the corporate investment arm of US microprocessor maker Intel, and Xilinx, a US semiconductor company which provides programmable devices.  Angel investor Joe Costello, former chief executive officer of EDA vendor Cadence Design Systems, also participated.

 The funds will be used to expand the company’s sales, marketing and product development activities.
