Robotics company ZMP has secured an undisclosed sum from Intel, which invested from its $100m Connected Car Fund.
ZMP, a Japan-based developer of autonomous driving technology, has received an undisclosed amount of investment from Intel Capital, semiconductor company Intel’s investment unit.
Founded in 2001, ZMP produces autonomous driving technologies including car robotics platforms, sensor systems, visualisation and analytics, and connected car informatics. These systems can be tailored to each customer’s needs, such as eco driving in an efficient car, or safety-based driving.
