KJS has provided fresh funding for the e-commerce company, also backed by Astro All Asia, to scale up its logistics and delivery capabilities.

India-based e-commerce company IndianRoots.com secured Rs 320m ($5m) in a series C including diversified conglomerate KJS Group on Wednesday, according to the Economic Times.

Launched in 2013 as a subsidiary of commercial broadcasting company NDTV, IndianRoots operates a curated online shop featuring more than 100 designers and 700 brands. It is incorporated as NDTV Ethnic Retail.

IndianRoots raised $5m in series B funding in September 2014 from satellite TV broadcasting company Astro Malaysia.
