IDG Ventures participates in $8m series A funding for image-based social network site.
WeHeartIt, an image-based social network site originally based in Brazil but relocating to the US, has raised $8m in series A funding from a group of investors including IDG Ventures, a network of venture capital funds backed by IT media company International Data Group, and from investment firm White Oak.
WeHeartIt was founded in 2007.
