Salesforce Ventures took part in a $75m series D1 round for sales optimisation platform Highspot that carried its overall funding to the $200m mark.

US-based sales optimisation platform developer Highspot raised $75m yesterday in a series D1 round featuring Salesforce Ventures, the corporate venturing subsidiary of customer relationship management software producer Salesforce.

Venture capital firms Madrona Venture Group, Sapphire Ventures and OpenView Venture Partners also took part in the round, as did multi-family office Iconiq Capital.
