Tencent and Legend Capital provided the series C funding, which followed a $14.5m round for the online education provider 10 months ago.

China-based online education provider Guanghe Xinzhi Technology has raised more than RMB120m ($19m) in series C funding from investors including internet group Tencent, Marbridge Consulting has reported.

Tencent and Legend Capital, the venture capital firm formed by conglomerate Legend Holdings, each provided half of the funding according to Marbridge.

Guanghe Xinzhi has created an online education platform called Yangcong Shuxue with more than 14 million registered users across mobile, tablet and PCs.
