The internet company is set to open a European base in London, and sources claim it has already hired most of its initial team.
Google Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of internet company Google, has assembled the team that will open its forthcoming European branch in London, Breitbart.com has reported citing undisclosed sources.
The founding partners will include angel investor Peter Read and Tom Hulme, the design director of design and consultancy firm IDEO and a prominent figure amongst UK angel investors, having advised London’s Tech City since 2012. Both will serve as venture partners.
