Google Ventures invests in a $9m A round for Silicon Valley-based data analysis start-up ClearStory Data.
Existing backers Google Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of search engine Google, and venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz have participated in a $9m Series A round for data analytics startup ClearStory Data. There was also involvement from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & byers.
Mike Abbott, a managing partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, will now join ClearStory’s Board of Directors.
