Google Ventures has invested an undisclosed amount in maths start-up website Desmos.com, a site which allows user to plot graphs online
The corporate venturing unit of Google, Google Ventures, has backed education technology startup Desmos, a company which has created a free online graphing calculator for math students.
Last year the US-based Desmos attracted a $800k investment from Mitch Kapor, Learn Capital and Kindler Capital. Desmos, a San Francisco company, will use the new funds from Google to pursue further hiring and growth to expands its 8 person team.
