GoodWorker has put up $33.8m to help fund the newly launched company’s plans to help migrant workers in India find employment.

Blue collar-focused online recruitment service GoodWorker has invested Rs 2.5bn ($33.8m) in India-based migrant job search portal Pravasi Rojgar, Hindu Business Line has reported.

Pravasi Rojgar was launched in July this year by Bollywood actor Sonu Sood in partnership with online learning technology provider Schoolnet India.

The platform is intended to help migrant workers find employment and has already received 1 million registrations from jobseekers in addition to thousands from employers.
