Goldman and GSV line up with US media company Advance Publications and Intel Capital backing the start-up founded by repeat entrepreneur Osman Rashid.
US bank Goldman Sachs has joined Intel’s corporate venturing arm and US media company Advance Publications as backers of Kno, a US education software company.
Intel Capital, the corporate venturing unit of US chip maker Intel, invested in Kno’s $30m series C round in April. Kno is also backed by venture capital and early stage investors Andreesen Horowitz, First Round Capital, Floodgate and SV Angels.
