Garena has added funding from SeaTown, Global Digital Prima Venture and Mistletoe to more than $500m previously raised from backers including Tencent.
Garena, a Singapore-based mobile platform backed by internet company Tencent, has raised an undisclosed sum from investors including SeaTown, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore government-owned investment firm Temasek.
Investment fund Global Digital Prima Venture and startup studio Mistletoe also took part in the round.
Founded in 2009, Garena has created a range of products such as online social gaming platform Garena+, payments processing service Airpay, marketplace Shopee and social network Beetalk.
